Network Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable from your printer directly to your network router or switch.
Print Configuration Page: Press the Menu button on the printer’s physical control panel. Navigate to System Setup > Reports > Network Configuration and select print.
Find the IP: Locate the IPv4 Address (e.g., 192.168.1.150) listed on the printed document. Access the SyncThru Web Interface
Open Browser: Launch an internet browser on a computer connected to the same network.
Enter IP: Type the printer’s exact IP address into the browser address bar (e.g., http://192.168.1.150) and press Enter.
Open Login: Click the Login link located in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
Default Credentials: Enter the default administrative credentials: ID: admin
Password: sec00000 (Note: For older firmware iterations, the default password may simply be 1111). Key Configuration Tasks
Once authenticated, you will unlock full administrative tabs to configure device parameters:
Network Settings: Navigate to Settings > Network Settings to assign a static IP address, adjust subnets, or configure DNS entries.
Scan to Email (SMTP): Go to Settings > Network Settings > Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) to input your mail server hostname, port, and security credentials.
Address Book: Navigate to the Address Book tab to mass-import or edit speed-dial contacts for scan-to-email or faxing targets.
System Security: Access Security > System Security to change the default admin password. Keep your new password under 18 characters to prevent account lockouts.
