Connecting your existing development and communication tools to Hansoft (now known as Perforce P4 Plan) can be completed through the core Hansoft SDK or via its modernized, built-in GraphQL API Service.

The primary workflow involves setting up a dedicated SDK account on your server, authenticating your service, and utilizing standard API protocols to build a custom pipeline. Step 1: Create a Dedicated SDK User

Before writing any code, your Hansoft administrator must provision a secure gateway for the integration tool.

Log in to the desktop client using the root Administrator account. Click on the Admin tab from the main navigation panel. Select New SDK User.

Enter a distinctive name (e.g., WebSDK or JiraIntegration) and assign a secure password.

Under the SDK sync method options, choose Sync all projects to allow global access. Generate and securely save your SDK authentication token. Step 2: Choose Your Development Pathway
